About Me

I’m Hannah Thomas, I am a freelance audio engineer in the DMV area who believes in creating high level audio worlds in live sound and the film medium. I work with local theatre companies and filmmakers to bring their vision to life. When it comes to live audio I take care of everything from set up to mixing as well as custom made sound effects for shows. As a post production audio engineer I work with directors to create the soundscape and feeling for their film. In 2025 I won the Towson University Sound Design Competition and in 2022 I was awarded the Technical Excellence Award from Havre de Grace High School and also have level 1 and 2 certification in Dante Systems.
